Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

  • What is the payment schedule?

The payment schedule is divided in three increments: 6 months, 3 months and 1 month prior to your event. We accept cash, check and credit card payments.

  • Is outside catering and decoration allowed?

We can accommodate your request for outside catering and decor by assessing a surcharge of $2,500 for catering and $500 for decor. The caterer is responsible for providing the food cooked and ready to be served with servers, bussers and tableware. A food prepping area is provided and consists of counters, sink, ice maker, refrigerator and freezer.

  • Do you allow hard alcohol?

Hard alcohol is not permitted on the premises. We serve beer, wine and sparkling wine. ALL hosted bar services are done in house.

  • Is the start time when the ceremony begins?

When you're putting together your wedding invitations, it's important to pay special attention to the time you put down for your ceremony. While you want guests to arrive at the time you advise, you likely won't actually start the ceremony until about fifteen minutes later. Always pad the timing for your ceremony by at least ten to fifteen minutes (i.e. invitation may say 5 pm but you'll actually start the ceremony at 5:15 pm.) This allows a little leeway for guests to run late, find their seats and file in at an appropriate pace.

  • What are event hours?

Sunday - Thursday 5pm - 10pm. Friday & Saturday 5pm - 11pm. Estate access for the wedding party & vendor set up begins at 2pm.

  • When is the rehearsal date?

A 1 hour rehearsal is done the week leading up to your event date. Your coordinator is required to orchestrate your rehearsal.

  • What are Day-of Wedding Coordinators (DOC) ?

The DOC is responsible for the flawless execution of the logistics of your event through the creation of a detailed timeline. They're the point of contact for vendors, so questions or concerns are diverted away from you. Unlike the wedding planner, who envisions, curates, and books the wedding, the DOC ensures everything is handled seamlessly in real time. We require a professional and experienced DOC with a business license and/or event planner certification.

  • What to expect at your venue tour?

Venue tours can last anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour depending on Q&A’s. Make the most out of your site visit by coming prepared with a list of all of your questions. An hour time slot is allotted. Please call us at (916) 758-8081 if you are running later than 10 minutes after your appointment or if you need to cancel or reschedule. We recommend no more than a total of 5 guests at your tour. No pets allowed.
